Friends of Camp Fife

Friends of Camp Fife, founded in 2019, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the purposes and interests of the scouting movement in Washington by operating camps and outdoor programs in cooperation with other charitable and educational organizations. A core aspect of this is preserving the historic 64-acre Camp Fife property at Goose Prairie.

The Camp Fife property can serve up to 450 campers with its state-of-the-art dining hall and beautifully wooded group campsites, as well as a variety of historic cabins and lodges.

Camp Fife features a heated pool, archery and shooting ranges, a renowned equestrian program, and a blacksmithing forge. At nearby Bumping Lake, campers have access to the camp’s small fleet of canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and row boats.

On April 7th, 2026, Scouting America’s Chief Seattle Council transferred the property to the Friends of Camp Fife non-profit organization. This action helped strengthen their scouting programs throughout the region while allowing us to ensure that the 102-year-old camp continues to serve youth for generations to come.
