Friends of Camp Fife

Friends of Camp Fife, founded in 2019, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the purposes and interests of the scouting movement in Washington by operating camps and outdoor programs in cooperation with other charitable and educational organizations. A core aspect of this is preserving the historic 64-acre Camp Fife property at Goose Prairie.

The Camp Fife property can serve up to 450 campers with its state-of-the-art dining hall and beautifully wooded group campsites, as well as a variety of historic cabins and lodges.

Camp Fife features a heated pool, archery and shooting ranges, a renowned equestrian program, and a blacksmithing forge. At nearby Bumping Lake, campers have access to the camp’s small fleet of canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and row boats.

Friends of Camp Fife is seeking to have Scouting America’s Chief Seattle Council convey the Camp Fife property to Friends of Camp Fife. This would help keep scouting programs throughout the region sustainable, while allowing us to ensure the 101-year-old-camp continues to serve youth for generations to come.
